Embedded control architecture

A modular approach to sensing, decision-making and real-world actuation.

CONTROL CORESENSINGACTUATION
Publication status: concept study.
This page illustrates a possible engineering approach. It is not a completed client case study, a product specification or a claim of measured performance.

The engineering question

Bring sensor inputs, control logic and device outputs into one understandable, maintainable architecture.

A considered direction

  • Separate the sensing, processing and actuation layers.
  • Define input validation, operating states and fault behaviour before hardware selection.
  • Provide interfaces for configuration, diagnostics and future network integration.

What would need validation

Any implementation would require an agreed specification, component and interface review, appropriate safety considerations and a documented verification plan. Requirements would depend on the actual application and operating environment.

What is not being claimed

Component selection, PCB files, firmware and measured results are not published for this concept.
